Estes 1:5 D-Region Tomahawk

Designed for intermediate rocketeers, the D-Region Tomahawk offers a build experience that’s both straightforward and rewarding. The rocket features large body tubes, a stuffer bulkhead, molded plastic parts for precise scale accuracy, and a vivid water-slide decal sheet for an authentic finish. A full-color painting and marking guide ensures your final product looks as good as it flies. Despite its size, this model flies stably and smoothly on recommended D12-3 or E12-4 engines using the included adapter. Max altitude? A breathtaking 750 feet.

The D-Region Tomahawk has been done in kit form many times, but never better than this one! I have to admit, the D-Region is another one of my favorites (we LOVE scale), but it has always bugged me that no kit ever properly reproduced the fin shroud. Until this reissued 1/5th scale version from Estes, that is!

This is NOT a re-issue of their years earlier smaller version, but re-issued brand-new version that includes the properly done shroud, bolthead and umbilical details, even the scale launch lug! The model is over three feet long and is built with E power in mind! This is the D-Region Tomahawk kit that you have been waiting for!
